Winter Recover

For this recent project our client wanted a back yard deck design to match their front porch. They were interested in using a composite decking and railing system to increase the deck’s longevity. We suggested a high quality decking board that closely resembled wood. Along with a white railing system that coordinated with the front porch wood rails.

The homeowner opted for deck boards from Azek’s Vintage collection. The Mahogany color was rich and beautiful. This line of synthetic decking material is truly a level above the lower end synthetic options. For the railing, we needed something that looked similar to the front porch without being too bulky or too thin. The Premier Railing from Azek was our Goldilocks option. The size and style was just right.

During the project build the owner’s chocolate lab eagerly watched from the windows. We completed this deck just before it snowed and the puppy couldn’t wait to check it out.
